About Us

Speaks Community Outreach Houston Mission

Speaks Community Outreach Houston Incorporated’s mission is to provide mentorship for at-risk youth, volunteer and community service, education, and scholarships, bring awareness to health and wellness through prevention and special events. We will provide these services for youth and help maintain community needs, providing services for all.

Our Founder & President - Ms. Tiffany Goodlow

Tiffany Goodlow is the Founder and President of Speaks Community Outreach Houston Incorporated, based in Houston, Texas. She attended the University of Houston in Clear lake City, in the Greater Houston area, where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree studying Communications and Professional writing. Over the past 15 years, Tiffany has dedicated her time to hosting youth programs with the City of Houston and has inspired over 5,000 youth.

Mentorship Program

Speaks Community Outreach Houston mentorship program is designed to benefit youth that need guidance in a world full of the unknown. We are here to build healthy relationships with those that we see have potential. There’s too much going on in the world today that keeps young people from being their best selves, which is why we provide resources and guidance to help them overcome their challenges.

Jose Hernandez graduated yesterday with help of a whole village. I was in doubt that he would ever make it. When I thought that I could do no more, I threw my hands up in desperation. Then God answered my prayers and Tiffany Goodlow stepped in as a mentor for him. She helped to encourage him to finish school and to apply for an internship with the city community center. Thanks to her efforts he is on his way to community college and a career. I don’t know how she did it but I am no longer desperate just happy and grateful.

Youth Membership Activities

My Bright Future

“My Bright Future” is a children’s activity aimed at encouraging kids to think about their future and set goals for themselves. The activity involves having kids create a vision board or drawing of what they see for themselves in the future, whether it’s a career they aspire to, a hobby they want to pursue, or a place they want to travel to. Kids can also write down their goals and aspirations on a piece of paper or in a journal, and discuss them with their parents or our mentors.

Health & Wellness

Speaks Outreach Houston’s health and wellness campaign is aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles and wellbeing among the community. The nonprofit organization encourages individuals to take care of their physical, mental, and emotional health through a variety of activities and resources. The campaign includes fitness classes, healthy eating workshops, mental health seminars, and wellness retreats.

Community Outreach

Some of the volunteer opportunities offered by Speaks Community Outreach Houston include tutoring and mentoring programs for students, food distribution events, community clean-up projects, and fundraising events. The organization also offers opportunities for volunteers to serve as ambassadors and advocates for their cause, helping to raise awareness and support for their programs and services.

Speaks Outreach Houston recognizes the importance of education and offers scholarship and graduation assistance programs to help underprivileged students in the Houston area achieve their academic goals.
